Violeta & Rick Dominican Republic Potomac Service Center No Dominican Republic 2019-05-23 2019-06-17 2019-05-03 2019-05-09 2019-10-24 2019-10-31 2020-10-05 2020-10-22 2020-11-25 2020-11-28 2019-04-05 538* 25 N/A N/A We were denied at interview for lack of income. I had more then enough income but because I'm retired on my taxes it doesn't include a retirees Social Security income as gross income. Based on that the Counselor Interviewer said I needed another sponsor. I argued this but did no good and got no response from any counselor representative. There very hard to work with and will not answer questions. Will not reply half the time. But was told at interview that If I got another sponsor that she would sign off on the Visa and we wouldn't need to go to a second interview. This we did and were finely issued the stamp in my wife's passport. I paid for her entry to USCIS an purchased airline tickets to go through Miami. Everything went smooth with immigration there and my wife is now waiting for her green card. She received her Social Security card in the mail in about a week after arriving here in Colorado. 2020-12-27

Basically, it states that my case has been trxf'd to VSC in order to speed up processing. I had read on the USCIS website that this would happen: The ppwk would stay @ the NVC in MO, but the case would be sent to the SC where my I-130 had originally been submt'd to, in this case, VT. *2007-3-26 Rec'd NOA's for I-129f and I-130 about 1 week apart at the beginning of the month while I was in the Dom Rep visiting my wife, stating that we were approved. I'm pleasantly surprised that the I-130 came through so fast, but it makes me feel like I wasted $$ with the I-129f... Oh well, maybe the K3 petition is why the I-130 was processed so fast; I needed to grea$e the wheels. Now I'm just waiting to hear from the NVC in Portsmouth, NH that they rec'd the packet and are sending it forward to the US Consulate in Santo Domingo. *2007-5-1 I never heard anything from the NVC re: sending out my packet. Only after calling and calling (they always had too heavy call volume and a recording said to call back) did I get some answers. They told me the case # and that they sent it to the US Consulate in DR on 3/2/07. I only know that it was rec'd bc I searched for the case # on the Consular's Appointment Waiting List web page, and Our case was added on 3/7/07. 2008-12-03
